In this video I'll try to install MacMiNT, MacMINIX and MachTen under the new Quadra 800 emulation from QEMU.

These three operating systems were surrogates that required to run inside classic Mac OS, or System 7, and up to date they've been impossible to emulate due to their more strict use of hardware.

Typical 68k Macintosh emulators are not fully blown emulators but virtualizers that alter the Mac OS operating system to work with incomplete or completely missing hardware.

However the new Quadra 800 support from QEMU, is a complete emulation, with all the hardware that was found on a real machine, that may be required by these three operating systems.
