Intel Mobile Celeron 2.2 with NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX440-SE tested in benchmarks and games
Hello, I'm Andrew from Modern&Retro Gaming channel. Leave a comment, like or subscribe if you want so will be more videos like this for you.
Important: This cpu is mobile version of Celeron and also is based on Northwood core but have 256 KB L2 cache which is 2x more than desktop version have. This cpu's can work with some older motherboards like this Chaintech ES-676B with VIA P4X266 chipset, also can run on motherboards based on Intel 845. ASRock P4i65G/MSI MS-6701 motherboards cannot boot with that cpu. Pentium M and Celerons based on that series cannot work at all because they are using Socket 479 which have different pinout than Socket 478 (for them there are some desktop boards with Socket 479 and even CT479 adapter for ASUS P4P800SE motherboard). Only mobile cpu's with Northwood core which uses Socket 478 in laptops can work with some desktop motherboards. At Quake III Arena there was 56.1 fps at timedemo.
Here is old forum thread about mobile cpu's with Northwood core in desktop boards:
