12It's normal to start with what we want to accomplish (eg. I want to be a published author). But when thinking about success, it is often very effective and realistic to start with the opposite scenario (what would stop me from ever getting published?) and working backwards from there. Inversion and working backwards is a powerful way of making goals more achievable by looking at obstacles that may occur on the journey.
