Apple needs to stay competitive in the mobile operating system market. On April 8th, 2010 Apple revealed their plans for OS 4.0 which includes the highly requested multitasking feature. Launching Summer 2010, OS 4.0 looks to expand the functionality of the iPhone OS although it doesn't offer a new look nor a revolutionary new feature.
