In today's MP, I decided that it was time for us to start forcing preconstructed rulers, at least for myself. We'll see if I can drag the rest of the group along with me. I went back and forth on who to run, but ultimately we haven't played High in a while and I do think that Aric Rex is one of the stronger premade factions, thanks to a streamlined build allowing for a great Despicable Neutrals start *if we're lucky enough to find a Free City early*. I hope we are because a good High economy is a beautiful thing, and this bad boy even has Great Builders so we can build stuff (which I love doing, don't @me).
Will this be a team game? Will it be a FFA? It's probably going to depend on how many people show up, but either way I think this will be a fun way for us to start testing the value of things that wouldn't normally make their appearance in MP. Desert Adaptation? Why does this thing have Desert Adaptation? Are we supposed to go into Tome of Vigor or something? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
