Devil's Third had an incredibly rough development, originally aiming for a 2010 release before being pushed all the way back to 2015, and that is reflected in the final game. It was crticially panned upon release for its poor framerate and short campaign, and was largely forgotten by many in the gaming space. But now, 7 years after it originally released, divorced from the time it came out and the expectations built up over the course of its development, is there anything in Devil's Third that make it worth going back to? Or perhaps, even, is there a chance that Devil's Third was never that bad in the first place?
