Visceral's Star Wars single player Uncharted-like game is cancelled, getting turned into another game by EA after they shut down yet another studio. This is the latest smackdown to single player campaigns, are those days over? Is it all microtransactions from now on?

Kim breaks it down with her solution.

"Though Visceral Games' Star Wars project will live on in a different form, the linear, story-focused version of the game was beautiful, "fun and funny," the game's co-writer said.

Todd Stashwick, who was co-writing the linear, story-focused game with Amy Hennig at Visceral, publicly commented on what could have been following EA's announcement that Visceral would close and its Star Wars game would be refocused."*
