Its growing GDP, large and educated workforce, and diplomatic trade policies have quickly shot it up to the 5th largest economy in the world, with them set to be the 3rd by as soon as 2030. India is also poised to become the most populous country in the world inside of the next decade.
India is getting richer. They’re geographically positioned in a great place for trade, as well as military defense. And its foreign policy and foreign relations keep relations in the region civil. Their reputation for diplomacy and attractive economic factors make them a common target for foreign investment. And their strategic partnerships with allies protect them from conflict. It makes sense that people are calling India the Switzerland of Asia.
