13It was recently announced at CinemaCon 2022 that Avatar 2, the sequel to 2009 hit Avatar, would be called Avatar: The Way of Water. But has too much time passed since the first film for the sequel to be successful or even wanted?
In this video, superhero nerd Aaron Waller gives his thoughts on the upcoming Avatar sequel if it is warranted or possibly just another Hollywood attempt at resurrecting a now-forgotten franchise.
Not much is known about the plot of Avatar 2 as of the posting of this video but it will see the return of director James Cameron as well as stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña.
