Is Lucasfilm GIVING UP on the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy?!
827Lucasfilm and Marvel Comics are celebrating the release of Episode IX with even MORE Original Trilogy comics. And there seems to be more and more emphasis on the OT in other media as well. Is Lucasfilm trying to win back Star Wars fans by sidestepping the controversial sequel trilogy? Will Galaxy's Edge's reliance on the sequel trilogy hurt it?
Add in the fact that Disney is already $1 billion in the hole for their upcoming streaming service, and we have to wonder if this isn't Marvel and Lucasfilm scrambling to make some quick cash before the end of Disney's fiscal year in September.
And frankly, only OT still sells.
