After getting a break for a couple of episodes, the Xbox Game Pass “Surprise Me” button is back at the helm and has steered us right smack into an alien invasion! As the first title developed by Jumpship (a collaboration between Chris Olsen and Playdead's Dino Patti), this dialogue-free adventure game certainly shares some DNA with the critically successful titles Limbo and Inside. The gameplay here consists of a combination of puzzle-solving and evading abduction, while the plot focuses on a man's journey to reunite his family in the aftermath of an alien invasion. It certainly sounds compelling, but the real test will be how it plays in practice. Thankfully our hosts are up to the challenge! They have played the first hour and now unite to discuss their findings and determine if this one is worth your time!
