IShy Review: The Useless One (Useless For Those Who Just Want Review Not A Story Arc) (description)
I WAS going to have more detail for a Super Paper Mario Review in this video, but the story arc for season 1 of this series overshadowed, but I'll go ahead and state WHY I like Super Paper Mario down here
I enjoy the story of The Thousand Year Door, but really, if I'm playing a turn based RPG, it stresses me out too much to be fun, the only turn based RPG that doesn't do that is Miitopia (I think it's because the story AND dialogue de-stressed me enough to still enjoy it, IDK, is there any psychology knowledge that could explain these thoughts), so the fact that Super Paper Mario, while still an RPG, it's a real time RPG which is less stressful because no action commands, no pressing a button at the very same time an attack hits you to avoid damage, you can just AVOID EVERY SINGLE ATTACK, I love it, I also love how this is the ONE Paper Mario game that didn't have a final boss that was ACTUALLY ALMOST impossible to defeat, I've only defeated the Shadow Queen with cheat codes, since I was THAT scared of her, but the only boss I've had real trouble with was Wracktail, a completely OPTIONAL boss you DON'T have to kill to beat the game (Maybe also Shadoo but I haven't faced him yet, so we'll see), Super Dimentio was pretty easy, and I ACTUALLY love easy final bosses, Dimentio grown on me a lot throughout the game and this is one of the reasons why, as why I thrown him in as a character in IShy Review, he really is a great villain, now I understand why people meme-appreciate him.
The story is amazing, when I was watching my brother play this game when I was younger, I LOVED Tippi, back than it was JUST BECAUSE she was a rainbow butterfly, but now I love her for her personality too, she's so kind and so forgiving of Count Bleck (oh, spoilers), it's really cute, also I love the chapter 5 side-plot of the floro-saptians capturing Cragnons because they were littering and ruining the water they had to drink, I loved that there was a casual environmental lesson in a Mario game (mostly because I love nature and I hope people can do a better job of protecting it in the future). I actually really liked Luvbi when I first saw an image of her on Google (still liked her even when she came off as a whiney spoiled brat), I really felt bad for her when she found out the truth that SHE was the final pure heart and she felt betrayed by her "parents", it was good that she excepted her true form to save the world, but I'll never forget her "heart angel thing" form.
The rest of the Pixls are amazing, a hand (Throw), a boomer (Boomer), a triangle (Slim), mr super guard replacement (Barry), a weight (Thudly), a birth of an OP combo (Carrie), a square (Thweep), a hammer who I told to remind everyshow to subscribe (Cudge), a mini sun (Dottie), a music note (Piccolo), and speedy hexagon (Dashel), Cudge and Dashel get the most use out of me though, they come the most natural to killing enemies and getting around quickly, but I still like them all the same (I wish they gave each of them dialogue beyond when you first get them though, because after that they're just, there)
So there we go, I just gave a true review of the game in this description, now what do you think of the story of IShy Review season 1!?
