►Cave Story is an adventure platform game originally for PC. In Cave Story, the player controls Quote, an armed scouting robot who was sent to the Island. Many years have passed an he awakens from Amnesia. He takes the Polar Star from the Hermit Gunsmith and reaches Mimiga Village. The Mimiga tell Quote that the Doctor has been kidnapping Mimiga. The Doctors minions, Balrog and Misery show up and take the Mimiga Toroko away confusing her with Sue Sakamoto. Quote visits the Egg Corridor to find Sue and the Bushlands to rescue her brother Kazuma. When he travels to Sand Zone, Quote finds his companion, Curly Brace. The witch Jenka tells of the Doctors plan, to use the red flowers and weaponize the Mimiga. Quote then visits the storeroom in Sand Zone to destroy the flowers but finds that Toroko was force fed a red flower by the Doctor.
