Romance might be my favorite genre within anime, manga, light novels, games, and movies. Ever since I watched Clannad years ago, I always wondered why we don't get more anime or manga like that at all. There is a few that have done it, but its very rare. Uzaki-chan and Takagi is good examples. So if anything needs to be normalized its continuing the story after the main couple confesses their love for each other.
