After a giant mess at the Orbital Air Space Centre, Songbird almost at death's door, reveals to us that the Neural Matrix Cure for V, can only be used once and Songbird needs it for herself.
Leaving V in the same state as the beginning of Phantom Liberty. In Short, V was lied to from the very beginning.
I don't know if Songbird would've made it at the end, but giving her to Reed, was a guarantee for saving her life. Which lead me to my decision, even if shes gonna end up in prison, it's better than being dead. On Top Of that, Reed will help us... I hope (another promise lol)
