Mashinky by Jan Zeleny - in-game track signal switching demo - no talking

In this video, I build an example of laying track between two points with multiple trains running between each of them picking up passengers. I use multiple switches and double track, but the stations only have one platform each. This is a simple signal switch demo, but the technique is effective. Each side of the double tack is set up as a oneway track by using the switches in the one-direction mode. There are also multiple oneway switches on each side. This allows more than one train to go in one direction at a time between the cities. I use just a few trains here, but there is a possibility to use more. However, keep in mind, the more trains you have, the delays will start to build up and make your trains much less profitable.

Near the end of the video, I ride along on one of the trains and show how the actual signals switch in the "realistic graphics" mode.

Sorry about the game lag in a few places. My computer struggled a bit while recording and playing the game at the same time.

Let me know what you think. Could I have done this better? Are there other track switch techniques you are interested in seeing? Let me know in the comments!

And, as usual, PLEASE :) like and subscribe!

Enjoy!
