🔴Javon Walton's New Euphoria Replacement Show With 85% On RT Makes Us Mad At Ashtray's Ending 🔴
Javon "Wanna" Walton's role in the Hulu true crime miniseries Under the Bridge is a harsh reminder of his Euphoria character Ashtray's devastating fate in the hit teen show. In 2019, an 11-year-old Walton made his acting debut in HBO's Euphoria season 1 as Ashtray, the precocious younger brother and business partner of local drug dealer Fezco (Angus Cloud). Walton's character returned in Euphoria season 2 in 2022, often seen lurking in corners and keeping an eye out for any potential threats to himself or Fez.
That same year, Walton landed a recurring role in season 3 of the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy. Now, the young actor is starring in his latest Euphoria follow-up, Under the Bridge. Based on Rebecca Godfrey's 2005 book of the same name, Under the Bridge tells the true story of the teens who killed Reena Virk, a 14-year-old girl from Canada whose murder in 1997 shook the nation. Walton's character in Under the Bridge is reminiscent of the ill-fated Ashtray in certain respects, reigniting anger over the Euphoria character's tragic ending.
Walton's characters in Under the Bridge and Euphoria share similar backstories that led them down dark paths. In Under the Bridge, Walton plays Warren Glowatski, the only male perpetrator involved in the murder of Reena Virk. Under the Bridge episode 3's ending reveals that while Warren was not directly responsible for Reena's murder, he witnessed Kelly kill her and said nothing, thus making him an accessory. Although the exact ages of each character in Under the Bridge are not explicitly stated, the real Warren was 16 years old when Reena's murder took place.
Four months before Reena's murder (around the time Warren's dad abandoned him), Warren got beat up as part of a gang initiation ritual.
