First up is the title track Lost which features a clean pay meets tech sound that sees Askew embrace a new side to his output. Late night after party overtones and samples layered with punchy drums and an almighty fat bass line. This is golden stuff. On the flip we see Techno legends Balthazar & JackRock remixing one of John’s darker back catalogue drillers - Escapism. After hammering their amazing record Vibrant at all his shows for the last six months John had to get Balthazar & JackRock on the label and holy shit did they deliver. Without question two of the hottest names in techno right now and we’re thrilled to have them on VII.
