Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel demo (Steam) gameplay as Revenant

An upcoming top down action roguelike survival game that has you play as a damned hero attempting the Norse gods' trails of fighting your way out of the underworld known as Helheim in order to become the chosen Jotunslayer. Interesting gameplay that has you choose to attack manually or relying on auto while focusing where to aim your attacks, carefully choosing a perk base on either your class or receiving a blessing from a god per each level up, and trying to complete each objective while confronting waves of enemies. In this latest demo play, I tried out the Revenant class which is only available for possibly the duration of Next Fest which ends Monday, October 21, 2024 at 10am. The Revenant is another projectile based combatant; however, unlike the Seeress, the Revenant's shots are 3-way in addition to having a spirit wolf that attacks nearby foes. Another addition to this limited play is the option of getting a Loki blessing, but unlike the previous available gods which are Freya and Thor, Loki's blessings can come with a disadvantage so choose wisely. Fans of similar games like Vampire Survivors should give this game a try. This game is being develop by Games Farm and publish by Grindstone.
