One of the hardest stages so far in recent times. This boss has several mechanics taken from previous fights and compiled it all together, hits very hard, and really tests your damage output.

Throughout the fight, it will have the same debuff mechanics that Caius’s Tier 6 Mantises have.

Under 1 debuff
-200% Brv and Hp Dmg Reduction

Under 4 debuffs
-Raises Brv and Hp Dmg Dealt

Under 7 debuffs
-warps up immediately after your turn

Under 8 debuffs
-Raises Atk, Def, Spd

This comp utilizes the debuff start from Gabranth and Caius to fill up 6 debuffs, making me need to start with either Gabranth or Selphie for the 7th debuff to prevent the warp.

At 59% and 39%, the boss will order the adds to attack a random party member just like the mummies from Tier 5. Also like Tier 5, if the adds are NOT below 49%, then they will insta-KO whoever they attack. Otherwise it will be a regular ST HP Atk.

The adds will always respawn upon being killed. If you kill the adds AND push the thresholds at the same time, then the respawned adds will automatically insta-KO upon appearing. If you kill the adds during summon or BT phase AND kill the respawn adds right after before aforementioned phase ends, then nothing will happen.

At 39%, the boss will gain an HP Regen that functions similar to the Quistis LD Debut Floating Eyes. The boss will begin to heal on YOUR TURNS for 1% of its max HP (1,100,000 HP). There is NO WAY to cancel this and you must dps through it. However, the boss will not heal on its own turns or on the adds’ turns, so take advantage of off-turn damage if you need to.

The boss’s Force Time will reduce all brv dmg itself and the adds receives to 1. You will need to rely on very powerful battery and refunds to maintain uptime on your DPS during this period. In this comp, Caius’s Doom debuff keeps them broken to protect my party.
