In today's video, we look at a series of numbers that have been released by Ninetendo and Pokemon relating to the amount of Pokemon Cards that have been printed over the past couple of years. Many Pokemon Collectors have expressed fear over the past several months due to Pokemon releasing figures indicating that they have printed over 18 Billion Pokemon Cards in the past 2 years.
This number makes up approximately 35% of Pokemon Cards that have been printed over the past 20 years resulting in many to speculate that Pokemon could be entering a "Junk Wax Era" much like what we experienced with Sports Cards and Comics in the mid 1990's.
With the Pokemon Market continuing to decline as far as singles go, there has definitely been some panic about the current state of Pokemon and how rare some of the cards actually are. With Pokemon releasing actual figures of the amount of Pokemon Cards printed over the past couple of years, we can utilize Pokemon Pull Rate data to try and come up with educated guesses on how Rare some of Pokemon's most desired cards are.
