Of course the Spino won. Why wouldn't it?
But in all seriousness to stop a dinosaur sized war from engaging in the comments I just want to mention that T-Rex was one of the most powerful predators to ever live however, Spinosaurus is known from several poor specimens. Improvement of the precision of size estimates for Spinosaurus requires the discovery of more complete remains as available for some other dinosaurs, especially the limb bones of Spinosaurus which are "hitherto unknown". Spinosaurus locomotion method on land is uncertain. Plausible theories include a Bipedal Gait with an S-Curved neck similiar to a Swan or a Pelican; or a more erect bipedal gait similiar to most theropods and lastly a quadrupedal gait; althrough its purely a speculation. Spino had extreamly powerful competitors like Sarcosuchus, Carcharodontosaurus, Bahariasaurus, etc giving it a little more experience than most large predators. It's even predicted Spino had to constantly defend it's territory from Sarco. Scientist postulated that Spinosaurus Switched its living/hunting Territory between terrestrial and aquatic habitats to compete for food with large crocodilians and other large theropods. This strongly suggests that the Spinosaurus had a more amphibious (lives both land and water) lifestyle rather than a fully aquatic lifestyle. Recent studies have determined that all Spinosaurids were amphibious animals, but still, they were bipedal animals; and more likely had generalist diet rather than an entirely piscivorous diet.

So to sum it up, it's highly debated that Spino spent most of it's days in water. It's more likely that it split it's time evenly. The thing most debated about Spino is it's size so let's try not to say it's smaller than rex because that's unlikely especially since there's still evidence that even with the predicted smaller legs it was still larger than such Theropods. spino had mighty 5 foot arms with 25-30cm fingers armed with 15-20cm claws that could cause severe damage to anything those claws came into contact with.

Scott Hartman's spino skeletal restoration he argued that Spinos legs aren't as short as we believe for many reasons. They are still short but not ridiculously short and dumb looking. You should check that reconstruction out. It's a much more normal look for a Therapod of Spinos size. It's also the same Spino design implemented into the game The Isle if you want to look at an easier reference.
