Check out part 10 of my gameplay walkthrough featuring the game Kameo: Elements of Power! This game released on the Xbox 360 on November 7th, 2005. It is currently available to play on the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles via backwards compatibility. It was developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

In this video, Kameo climbs the mountain within Mountain Falls in order to save the next Elemental Sprite known as Deep Blue.

Kameo: Elements of Power is a third-person action-adventure game where the player controls an elf that goes by the name of Kameo who has been gifted with the power of controlling various elemental warriors. Kameo and her sister Kalus have been awaiting the day that one of them gets the opportunity to be crowned Queen of the Enchanted Kingdom (which also brings with it the Elemental Powers), however, Kameo is the one that ends up being chosen over Kalus. Kalus' jealousy takes control over her actions which results in Kalus freeing the troll King Thorn in an effort to form an alliance and steal both the crown and the Elemental Powers from Kameo. The trolls end up kidnapping some of Kameo's family members which causes an all-out war between the trolls and the elves. Kameo attempts to save them, however, quickly realizes that she is not yet strong enough and is attacked by Thorn which results in Kameo losing all of the Elemental Powers that she had. Kameo vows to train even harder and capture all 10 of the Elemental Warriors in existence in order to put a stop to Thorn's and Kalus' evil plans once and for all.

Right off the bat you can tell that this is a Rare game due to how similar it is to a lot of the titles that they have worked on in the past. It was one of the last third-person action-adventure games that they have worked on since its release and I would love to see them tackle this genre again some day in the future as they have always had a knack for it. The controls for the game are fairly easy to get accustomed to as the button layout is fairly simple: you control Kameo with the left stick, the camera with the right stick, Kameo's and her Elemental Warrior's abilities are controlled with the triggers and the face buttons (A, B, X and Y) are used to switch between Kameo and three of her active Elemental Warriors. The 10 Elemental Warriors that Kameo can collect are: Pummel Weed, Snare, Rubble, Major Ruin, Ash, Thermite, Chilla, 40 Below, Flex and Deep Blue. Each of these warriors is imbued with very different powers that are suited for different puzzles and combat situations. Kameo can also collect Elemental Fruit which she can use to upgrade her Elemental Warrior's abilities and Health Elixirs which increase her max health.
