Katana Zero (2019, Nintendo Switch) Gameplay Footage
Well… I’ve been on a bit of an 80’s Retro/Synthwave kick and during this time Katana Zero entered my view. It’s a VERY solid 2d action platformer. It has a mysterious story and simple but intense battle system. This game just hit me at the right moment. I needed a short playthrough to enjoy while I grinded through some RPGs and what really felt right in place for me was the amazing soundtrack that accompanies this pretty intense game. It’s a short game but more in that way where it falls in that sweet spot where it’s just long enough to tell a good story while not overstaying its’ welcome. I LOVED this game and hope others will check it out. Devolver Digitial publishes some amazing games and I look forward to what else Askiisoft brings.
