Kaze Kiri started out with such good vibes. The fighting is fast pace and the animations are silky smooth but it just drags on and on. The levels can only be passed after you beat enough enemies to proceed, than you go to one of the end sections, either right or left depending on the stage. It looked like it had such potential if only it has a bigger setting but since it takes place in pretty much a giant temple, all the levels look and feel the same. It just becomes soo tedious and I hate it when enemies can block in these games. It is so annoying dealing with them. I am glad that beatemups down the line take out that blocking mechanic from enemies because the AI can be really cheap blocking almost all attacks.
