Haunted by the bizarre and chilling images from the video, I couldn't escape the nagging thought that the mansion held more sinister secrets. My exploration led me to a hidden chamber, where an old journal spoke of a cursed tapestry hidden in the mansion. With trembling hands, I uncovered the dusty relic, and its strange, rabbit-themed pattern sent shivers down my spine. In my dreams that night, I was transported to a dark, labyrinthine forest, teeming with undead creatures wearing rabbit masks. They whispered dreadful secrets about a long-forgotten curse that had overtaken the mansion, drawing me ever deeper into its terrifying depths. As I reached the climax of the nightmare, I awoke with a start, covered in a cold sweat, only to find the very same rabbit tapestry hanging above my bed in my own home, as if the mansion had followed me back into the waking world. The END!?

Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness is a role-playing video game released by Tecmo in 1996 for the original PlayStation. Although often referred to simply as "Deception", the game's official title is Tecmo's Deception. Tecmo's Deception was released as Kokumeikan (刻命館) in Japan, and as Devil's Deception in Europe. The game inverts the common tropes of role-playing video games by placing the player in the role of an evil lord who must use traps and monsters to kill the adventuring parties which invade his castle. As the story progresses, the player character learns he has been the victim of multiple deceptions, and must decide whether to proceed with his plan to revive the Devil or convert to the cause of good.
The game is the first in the Deception series. It was a critical success, with reviewers particularly praising the originality of the game's concept.
