• On Steph and Klay 6/26 on threes: “Lakers have a great defense… when we came here to this building late in the season… I remember walking to the locker room saying that’s a great defensive team… Schroder put a lot of pressure on him… Davis at the rim. He’s obviously a huge obstacle… takes a lot of space, cuts down a lot of passing lanes… had some open looks early… a little bit of a rush… forcing the issue, missing a lot of open ones… would’ve got us into a rhythm.”
• On the pressure on Steph: “Two series in a row where he was playing about forty minutes a night… every team’s strategy is to try to put him in pick and roll… every other day for the last few weeks, it’s hard to sit here and claim it didn’t affect Steph and Klay’s jumpers…”
