[KF2 v1049] Commando and M16M203 GL
4Putting to rest a very frequently asked question, which I myself do not know the answer to 100%.
M203's grenades benefit from the Commando's perk passive bonus as well as Hollow Point Rounds' bonus damage, for a total of +55% damage.
First number is the impact damage of the grenade, second number is the explosive damage
What I also found out during this test:
The ballistic impact damage of grenades and rockets are a special instance of ballistic damage and do not get reduced by any form of ballistic resistance. Hence why the grenade does full 150 impact damage to an FP on impact with its body when used without any bonuses, despite the FP having a 50%/25% resistance to ballistic damage.
The second and third hits did 207 and 256 damage respectively when connecting with the FP's chestplate, which matches up with the math: (150 * 1.55 or 1.25) * 1.1, so when shooting explosives it's important to directly hit the target with the projectile itself since it does a lot more damage.
