This is not the original version of King's Quest II, but the improved 1987 version. The main difference that the 1985 version takes less disk space and the screens are generated real time by applying flood fill coloring on wire-frame backgrounds.
I use this version to demonstrate the composite colors because this is the only version I have. This game shows that the original IBM PC had the potential to show competitive graphics to its contemporaries, even though very few IBM PC owners ever used this ability.
