Stage 2 - We've collected all four Energy Spheres so yeah, 100% Complete!
Moundo is a mid-boss appearing in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition. Moundo is a semi-common mid-boss. He looks similar in appearance to a Rocky and just like it, he gives the Stone Copy Ability when inhaled.
Moundo appears in the New Challenge Stages in "Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition" as well. It appears in the Smash Combat Chamber EX.
Moundo is a large brown rock. Just like Rocky, he has no hands or arms.
Moundo has main four attacks that he uses in battle: charging into Kirby after building up some speed, spinning around on the floor and sliding around, leaping high into the air to smash Kirby... and even a homing jump where he uses a whirlwind around himself to float into the air in hopes of crushing Kirby below him.
The charging attack and crushing attacks leave stars behind for Kirby to use.
When Moundo is in the middle of his spinning move, he will flash grey during it and be invincible to all attacks.
***Flare Beam is a Super Ability that appears in "Kirby's Return to Dream Land". The ability is an upgraded version of Beam, and is obtained after inhaling a Super Waddle Doo.
Kirby dons a hat much like the regular Beam hat, only larger, and the wand is larger and in rainbow colors and can create a large ball of energy that can be maneuvered across the screen by pressing the +Control Pad.
This stage is quite challenging! We have to fight Moundo, direct the Flare Beam to access the crazy Sphere Doomer, dash in a dimensional rift zone to avoid the coming wave!
***About the Sphere Doomers - They're mysterious creatures that usually live in another dimension. Energy Spheres are their favorite snack.
Sphere Doomers are mid-bosses that first appear in "Kirby's Return to Dream Land". They are all ruled by Grand Doomer and are members of the Another Dimension species known as Doomers. They hold two Energy Spheres each.
Please note that Sphere Doomers are only found in stages that have a Super Ability.
