Knights of the Slice custom paint tutorial.
Hyper Knight

Today going over the methods used to do a custom repaint of a Hyper Knight.

SORRY! I didn’t record any of the final steps past the black base coat, so here is the rundown.

1. Use water based acrylics for all the colors. Thinned with water.
2. Use the “dry brush” technique to paint over the peaks of the plastic and keep the groves black.
3. Spray all the parts with Matte top coat
4. For chrome parts use Molotow paint pen. Note: don’t use the matte top coat on the chrome it will loose the shine. And let the chrome cure for 24 hours. Use gloves when handling the chrome to avoid finger prints.
