Kubuntu 18.04, codenamed Bionic Beaver, is a Long Term Support (LTS) release, and comes with KDE Plasma 5.12.4 LTS desktop.

A new “Kubuntu” theme is the default, which is an amalgamation between Breeze Dark and Breeze Light

Wayland can be used with the plasma-workspace-wayland package.
Snaps and Flatpaks can be installed via Discover. Install plasma-discover-snap-backend or plasma-discover-flatpak-backend
Latte dock can be installed from standard repositories.
Falkon (Formally Qupzilla) is available from standard repositories.
