WEBSITE: https://www.letsgowarriors.com … FULL QUOTE: *(inaudible question)* “…a lot of Brazilian people, man, it’s really fun to know that you guys support me. I really appreciate you guys and thanks again for all the love and support.”
• *How and when did you decide to play basketball?* “I started playing basketball at the age of two because I came from a family that everyone played basketball. My dad and my mom and I think that’s how I feel in love with basketball.”
• *In Brazil we are renewing street courts with the NBA. How do you think it’s possible for future kids to starts playing on better courts?* “It’s a good thing for the NBA to do that and kids get a chance to go out there and play at a young age. That’s pretty good because I didn’t get that growing up. I mean, I fell in love with basketball playing with no court. We didn’t have any courts. We built some rims. We got like a tree standing up right next to our house. E we built the rim right there. I think that’s how I fell in love. People that are doing that, they’re doing a good job. If there was a way, I wish I could help but they’re doing good.”
• *What message would you send to the kids to have this opportunity?* “You never know how your path will go …basketball, if you love it go out there every single day, work s as hard as you can, work harder than anybody else, get better every day. Don’t worry if you don’t get shoes, food, anything. :rotating_light: Just keep pushing. You never know.” (Jonathan Kuminga, more transcripts coming soon on our website!)
