"I recorded the sessions with my electroacoustic experimental Deimel Spark guitar, which is made to be used in combination with modular electronics and has special features like different playable springs & contact mics all over the body, etc., that oscillate through an onboard Leslee unit. This unit is connected to a CV (control voltage) IN- and OUTPUT, allowing it to control parameters like filters, pitch, trigger, etc., to make this a sort of sonic 'super-weapon' that I imagined to be the right sound for the game. In a way, I was musically fighting with this guitar + different effects & electronics to make it energetically fitting to the purpose."
