Remember that cool entrance Kirigiri made in Danganwrestling 6 with Edge's music? Yeah, that was fun. :)

I expanded upon it a little bit with this (non-canon) video. The closest I've been to making an AMV.

Anyway, so why exactly did Kirigiri enter the arena to "Metalingus"? Well, unfortunately, as far as I can tell, Danganronpa characters (outside of Monokuma) don't really get their own musical themes, which is a shame. So why did I choose Edge's entrance music? I think it's a cool song! I don't even like Edge. Also, I looked at the lyrics and saw that they sort of reflected what Kirigiri's state-of-mind would be following the events of Danganwrestling 5, and the song would do something like symbolize her acceptance of the truth.
I was actually originally thinking of using "Smoke and Mirrors," Cody Rhode's entrance music, to further that..."connection" between the two characters. But I decided on Metalingus instead, 'cause I like that song better.

I wanted to build Kirigiri's reappearance as kind of a big deal. That's why I redesigned her CAW (create-a-wrestler) model to be more accurate to the game. Since I started Danganwrestling, I actually got kinda good at using the CAW tools, so it was nice to go back and re-do one of my first CAWs for the series. I also did this silly depth-of-field effect to blur Kirigiri out of the scene when Stardust is talking to her backstage. I actually didn't want Kirigiri to appear at all until her surprise entrance after John Cena's death, but I had already recorded the footage of her in the Stardust scene and didn't feel like recording it again.

Also, if you read this entire post without the context of Danganwrestling, it's pretty funny.
