Trying something a little different this time. This is a New Game + playthrough/walkthrough of the secondary story exclusive to the PSP port of La Pucelle Tactics; La Pucelle Ragnarok. In this alternate timeline, a small off-handed comment at the beginning of their adventure sets off a butterfly effect that sends the main character, Priere (Prier in this translation) down a dark path. It is an abridged version of the normal story dealing with key moments in the story rather than the tale as a whole. As such, I HIGHLY recommend that you either play or watch a playthrough of the main story FIRST if you want full context; though this is not required.

This playthrough achieves the True Ending to the game by completing all important objectives in each of the four chapters. I make it a point to show all cutscenes in full because they are FREAKING AMAZING.

This is a patched version of the game, translated into English from the original Japanese. Because the patch breaks some things with DLC installed, I disabled my DLC characters (no Hero Prinny ;.; ) for the purposes of this gameplay. You might see some broken item names here and there as a result of this.

For those that want a non-spoiler guide to get the good ending, you can achieve it by doing the following:

-Unlock Overlord Priere mode either by playing through the main campaign or by putting the icon on "Start" in the main menu and pressing Triangle, Square, X, Triangle, Square, X, Circle.

-After the opening cutscenes but BEFORE entering the forest, go into town and talk to all of the children at the orphanage.
-One the second battlefield, move to the glowing, pink panel behind one of the trees and watch the cutscene
-Complete Chapter 1 normally.
-In Chapter 2's fourth battle, examine the glowing panel near the whale enemies.
-Complete Chapter 2 normally.
-In Chapter 3's fourth battle, seek out the pink, glowing panel behind a pillar on the corner to the right of the entrance.
-Complete Chapter 3 normally.
-In Chapter 4's first battle ***DO NOT*** attack the demons!!! Do not fight at ALL! Instead, move to the glowing pink panel at the door near the entrance panel.
-(OPTIONAL) Speaking to Princess Eclair after you return to the world map gives you an INSANELY powerful spear known as the Crusade. It is ABSOLUTELY worth picking up!!!
-You've done it! Now beat the game normally!

If you see nothing else in this playthrough, watch the final cutscene of Chapter 3 and all of the cutscenes in Chapter 4. They might legitimately be one of my favorite emotional rollercoaster rides in RPG history!

Anyway, hope you liked this, guys. No idea if this sort of video has an audience, but if I can shine a spotlight on one of the most amazing SRPGs from the PS2/PSP era, then I feel I've done my job! ...I just wish they'd have translated the DLC. XD

I was going to do commentary on the playthrough via annotations, but I was unable to do so, so I'll leave a few note on it here:

-I left on ally attack animations, but left off enemy animations, simply for a cinematic balance
-This is a semi-speedrun of the playthrough; choosing to escape battles whenever possible rather than fight them out. This is done through use of the Angel Shoes and high-range purification to keep refreshing my movement.
-Some options I used can only be unlocked AFTER beating this mode for the first time. Priere's transformation ability and the completed character roster are available only AFTER beating this playthrough for the first time. But I showed them off for completionist purposes and efficiency. They don't significantly change the approach to beating this playthrough.
-There is a slight cut between the third and fourth battle of chapter 2, since I made a mistake on the fourth stage and wanted to spare you guys the tedium of fixing it.
-IF YOU WATCH NOTHING ELSE, WATCH THE END OF THE THIRD CHAPTER AND THE START OF THE FOURTH. Seriously... absolutely amazing.
