In this lesson we go through the first 14 Codecademy lessons in their 'Learn HTML' course. The first part of the course is 'Elements and Structure'. We learn about the importance of HTML and what it is used for. HTML is a markup language which allows us to structure a webpage. The structure of the webpage should not be confused with its styling. The color, font-family, font-size, etc are all styling and will be gone over in the CSS course. HTML allows us to set up and structure the words on our page in an organized matter. This video is for those who are brand new to Web development in 2017.
