In this new course from We Will Code, we will be looking at "Learn Lua Programming, Is Lua a Good Programming Language, Lua Language Review for Beginners", which is Codecademy's new Learn Lua course. If it is your first time hearing about the Lua programming language, don't worry you are not alone. When I received the email from Codecademy, it was my first time hearing it mentioned as well. After reading a bit more about it, and realizing awesome apps I use daily were built on it, I decided this would be a fantastic course to create. Lua was used to create games such as Roblox, World of Warcraft, and even Angry Birds. It is also what is used when you send or receive money using Venmo. Learning the basics of the Lua programming language is an excellent way of learning to program, and much of the Lua syntax looks a lot like Python. Lua is an intuitive general purpose language and an excellent way for beginner programmers to become familiar with programming concepts. If you have never programmed a day in your life, then this Learn Lua programming course is the right choice for you!
