This is a story of how learning Blender and Unreal Engine 4 & 5 cost me between $200.000 - $300.000, my fans & popularity. I ended up in a deep rabbit hole called 3d modeling in Blender, Texturing in Marmoset Toolbag 4, and rendering everything in Real-Time in Unreal Engine 5 thanks to Lumen and Nanite to create Virtual Production Studio aka Mixed Reality where I learned everything. From Hard Surface modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, importing, exporting, baking, animating, and even coding. And the reason was simple. To increase the quality of my streams and youtube videos.
