#NamasteYoga producer / writer / director Ravi Chand, caught up with Yoga Acharya (teacher) Sri Samir Rane who comes from a yogic family in India where yoga has been a family tradition for many generations. They discuss the importance of the Sanskrit names as asanas (postures), various aspects of yoga and how that was depicted in Namaste Yoga.
Sri Samir Rane specialises traditional Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. His lineage is carried forward from his Grandfather (#Yoga Acharya Arjun) who was also a Yoga Guru in #India, teaching in one of the most distinguished yoga schools.
