Led Zeppelin "Led Zeppelin III" Album Review!
Today's Vinyl Record Album review is Led Zeppelin's third studio album, 1970's "Led Zeppelin III." Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones really knock it out of the park once again on this album, keeping up the top notch instrumental work that is the hallmark of Led Zeppelin. The First Side is harder rock with some real Led Zeppelin Classics such as Immigrant Song, Celebration Day, and Out on The Tiles. The second side takes a more folk influence from the likes of Burt Jansch and Al Stewart with songs like Gallows Pole, Tangerine, and Bron-Y-Aur Stomp.
Led Zeppelin III is weaker than both its predecessor, Led Zepplin II, and it's successor, Led Zepplin IV (ZOSO.) Despite this, Led Zeppelin III remains a bona fide classic, with Immigrant Song in particular continuing to see major popularity with its appearances in films such as Thor: Ragnarok.
In this video you get my full reaction and review of each of Led Zeppelin III's songs as well as my thoughts on the album as a whole. I hope you will watch to the end because I have a lot of thoughts to share on this album!
