After getting a 1:36 and slowly chipping away at my time I told myself I would upload a run when I hit 1:35…

However, I managed to skip 1:35 and get a 1:34:57 instead.

Hitodama using only one special technique
Akravator using no special techniques and no flys.
Braveblade dropping on the first fight.
The RNG was with me this run.

Was incredibly anxious after the Akravator fight. Was not expecting to be 40 seconds ahead at that point. And then when I got the first round BraveBlade and managed to get 1 minute 30 seconds ahead of my PB, I knew I had a “crazy” run on my hands. I just kept telling myself, “I can still lose this. I can still get screwed by Drakonis, I can still lose time in the Castle, I can still die to The Mana Goddess. Just focus, it’s not over yet.”

Yet there were still a couple of embarrassing fumbles. Running past the correct exit in Norn Peaks. And running back into an entrance in The Mana Tree. As well as a few rough fights and some sub-par menuing through out the run.

Still a lot of improvement to be made, but I am very happy that I somehow managed to skip 1:35.

Will try to post new PBs from now on.
