Legend of Mana Remastered - The Lucky Clover
0Find Elazul in his usual place in the Domina pub. Ask him twice to join you and he'll do so. Then try to leave the building; Pearl will show up. She eventually ends up staying at Home, while you and Elazul go out in search of Jumi. (Note that if you drop Elazul from your party for any reason, he can be found in the jewelry shop in Geo.)
Visit Geo; as soon as you step onto the town map, you'll see a scene between Nunuzac and Esmeralda. You now need to visit the classroom in the Magic Academy on a Salamander, Aura, Jinn, or Dryad Day; you can pass the time by staying at the inn in the marketplace. (The current day is displayed briefly in the upper-left corner whenever you step onto the Geo town map.) Then go to the classroom and talk to the green-haired girl, Esmeralda, with Elazul in the party. She'll ask you to see her in the library.
Next, sleep until a Gnome or Undine Day, then visit the library. Talk to Esmeralda again. Wait another day, then go back and talk to her in the classroom. Finally, visit her in the library on another Gnome or Undine Day, and she'll join you (displacing Elazul). The "Lucky Clover" quest finally officially starts.
Your mission is now to find the cores of Esmeralda's three sisters. The easiest one to get is in the Palace of Arts; talk to Kristie, then collect it from the basement. (You'll also meet Diana here.) Next, visit Mephianse's office on a Dryad Day (when he's out of the office) for the second. For the third, talk to Alex in the jewelry store, then go to the inn. Talk to the innkeeper from behind the counter.
Exit to the town map and Esmeralda will comment briefly on the inn. Return there and search the plant in the middle of the room. When asked, explain the situation instead of fighting the innkeeper. After a brief but amusing scene, you're rewarded with the final core. As soon as you step outside the inn, a note will fall down, prompting Esmeralda to run off (regardless of what you say to her). Grab Elazul from the jewelry shop, then hurry to the academy. You're redirected to the Palace of Arts; go there and talk to Diana. Several scenes follow, and you eventually end up fighting another Jewel Beast.
