Mission 13: Norrington's Choice
As you begin this extremely dark level, kill a small oyster at the very bottom of the screen (the top half of the boat might be covering it, but you'll know you've gotten it once "1/5" pops up). Getting four more of these will mean a reward later. Go up the stairs and head left to end up on a higher level of the boat. Use the action button to stick your sword into some gears and reveal a target, then switch to Murtogg and have him shoot it. Jump onto the chain and hold on until a box falls down, opening a hole in the floor. Before you jump in, run downstairs and grab a torch first, then head back up and jump into the hole.
In the much lighter lower deck, use the torch to scare away some tentacles (scaring away three more later will get you a reward), then light one of the nearby cannons. Use it to shoot at five barrels, then light the other cannon and shoot the other five. You'll receive a Minikit for hitting all ten. Now kill the small oyster on the floor, then climb down the ladder. One level down, scare away two more sets of tentacles with the torch and kill your third small oyster, then scare away a set of tentacles blocking yet another ladder (this set of tentacles doesn't count towards the reward). Climb down.
On this even lower level, scare away some more tentacles around the room (also not part of the reward) and turn gold wheels at the front and back of the room to move some objects hanging from the ceiling. Head back to the bottom of the ladder and push an object along a track. When it gets blocked, turn the wheel closest to the ladder again, then finish pushing the object to the end of the track until it locks into place. Use the action button to stick your sword into the gears. Switch to Murtogg and head to the left of the room. Scare away the tentacle if you haven't already, then pick up the sword it was guarding and stick it into the other set of gears. Grab a torch and walk down the stairs through the hole in the floor you just opened.
Now that you're on the lowest level, head to the far right and scare away one last set of tentacles. If you got the other three sets earlier, you'll receive a Minikit. Head even further to the right to kill your fourth small oyster, then backtrack to the barrel full of dynamite near the center of the room. Use the torch to light it and activate a cutscene.
After the cutscene, you'll now have Elizabeth, Tai Huang, and Tattoo Pirate in your party. Take out some enemies, then head to the right and climb up the ladder.
Take out some more enemies on this floor, then head to the left side of the room (near the ladder) and switch to Tattoo Pirate. Pull the orange bar to create an opening, then grab torches and light both cannons. They'll move backwards as they shoot, so go through one of the openings they were blocking to head outside and trigger another cutscene.
After the cutscene, drop down the hole and follow the wooden path. When you reach the glowing flowers, switch to Elizabeth and use her super jump to reach a bar, which will lower a climbable wall. Climb up, then jump onto the platform with the green bar on the bottom. Jump across the platforms on top of each cannon as they fire, then end up on another platform lined by a green bar. From here, use your super jump to get to the top of a platform blocking a gold wheel, which will lower. On that platform, use the action button to turn the wheel. Once a lifeboat appears, jump into it.
Switch to Tai Huang to shoot the target on the right, then jump to grab the chain it leaves behind. Swing back and forth until you can get to the platform with the torch on it, then jump over and take out an enemy. Use the torch to scare away some tentacles, then jump onto the balcony nearby to fight more enemies. Once they're gone, switch to Elizabeth and jump onto the narrow railing of the balcony. Use your super jump to get up to a green bar above the rope, then jump up to get a Minikit. Now fall onto the rope to slide across to another boat.
Now head back to the part of the boat where you started and switch to a character who can repair things. Fix the glowing gears to open a hole in the floor, then find a Minikit inside.
Switch to the Tattoo Pirate and pull on the four orange bars near where you killed the oyster. Once you've gotten all four, you'll activate a cutscene and finish the level. Nice job.
