PSA: bees of all varieties are actually super important to both the natural ecosystems of the world and to our economies/societies, as they are the primary pollinators of essentially every plant species in the world. Without them, most plants would suffer a sever population decrease as their ability to reproduce would be drastically reduced, and food crops would be devastated. I mention this because worldwide bee populations are crashing, with many native species in the U.S. on the verge of extinction, and many commercially used introduced species suffering similar colony collapses. While there isn't much average citizens can do, just be aware of their importance and try volunteering for a local beekeeper. Don't kill them unless you're one of those with a deadly allergy. This has been a public service announcement.
