A great level, especially considering when it was made. The level is very atmospheric, ominous, and constantly promises dread with its terrific use of lighting and textures. However, that "promised dread" never comes, as the entire map is too easy.
When I first played this map I thought it'd make an outstanding intro level to a larger total conversion/map pack. And, I later found out, that's what was intended here. This map was originally to be part of a whole Army of Darkness TC for the original Quake. Unfortunately, the project was never completed. Still, quite the ambitious undertaking!
