This part starts off with both groups of survivors meeting up to exchange information.
While it plays out the same as last time, there is a slight difference as Ayumi hands the baby statue over to Satoshi's group.
After that, we have to once again go through that scene where Naomi nearly drowns in bugs and arthropods! (At least with a new save file in this part, Naomi won't have to go through that again!)
With Naomi once again surviving that, I head on over to the area with the empty pedestals.
Now having both statues in our inventory, I place each of the statues down to open up a secret passageway.
While inside said passageway, Naomi and Yuka end up being unable to go any further due to an unknown force.
This leads to Satoshi investigating on his own as he seems to not be as badly affected by whatever force is stopping them from going any further.
The passageway itself leads to the infirmary.
And as Satoshi enters the infirmary, he runs into Yoshie, Sachiko's mother.
As she talks about her daughter doing anything for her, Satoshi regains the ability to move. (Much like Naomi and Yuka in the passageway, Satoshi was momentarily unable to move.)
Seeing the diary on the table moving on its own, Satoshi investigates.
After reading an entry in the diary, the room begins to shake as Yoshie speaks.
Running out of the room with the diary, Satoshi rushes to Naomi and Yuka and tells them to get out of the passageway.
With all of them making a quick exit, Satoshi explains what had happened.
After that, they read the entries in the blood covered diary.
The entries in the diary show that it belongs to Yoshie, and it details events that took place in the 50s, many years before the big incident that happened at heavenly host that caused it to be closed down.
The entries reveal that the principal had killed Yoshie when he tried to assault her.
And with her daughter, Sachiko, being the only witness to this, the principal proceeded to kill her too to cover it up.
And as if all of that wasn't enough, the diary also details Yoshie's descent into madness, along with how Sachiko ended up doing the things she has done.
So overall, this part has a lot of plot twists!
