Let's Play Didnapper 2 Part 29: The Chroma Research Center
2The party talks to Ryker who asks for help about the Exceed who directs the party to the Chroma Research Center. They take a tour in the CRC and then look for information about Exceeds. It's revealed that Seles' Exceed isn't registered in the registry. Here, the party learns that the Exceed has the potential to corrupt people into monsters as what was witnessed with Alastair. As they return to Letovi, Elize tells them that Liliana has been kidnapped by some suspicious Riftan individuals. Seles wants to help Liliana although the party seems hesitant given the risks, but Elize mentions that sending her knights into the Rift would be seen as an invasion. After Elize leaves, the party heads to Selalon to get to Milaz, a Riftan port town.
It's unknown if the people are unaware of the Exceeds' danger. In Metroid Prime 3, Samus experiences a Phazon Overload in the Corrupted Pool after she activated Hypermode. It's later revealed that the Phazon inside Samus' body overreacts when she remains in Hypermode for too long. The Galactic Federation didn't foresee this problem when they developed the PED. Maybe Pendragon or Kendrian could explain if anyone except Kaie is aware of the corruption by Exceeds.
