On October 9, 2012, Bethesda Softworks released Dishonored, developed by Arkane Studios. The game uses the Unreal Engine 3, so often has the same smoothness of games such as Batman: Arkham Asylum and another game I've LP'ed, Spec Ops: The Line.
Dishonored is a first-person action-stealth game, using typical gaming mechanics on the PC, such as WASD, with Q and E for leaning. In this regard it very much has the feel of the Thief games from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
After returning from a mission to find a cure for a widespread plague, you play Corvo, the Lord Protector of the empress. Though you try to defend her, you are ultimately unable to stop her death and are framed for it. Now you're out for answers and revenge!
