In this 29th part of my Let's Play series for Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS4.
Kythaela manages to aim the trebuchet and is about to pull the lever to fire it, then the dragon comes back again and attacks, the resulting fireball explosion forcing Kythaela and her companions back.

She gets back up and sees a figure walking through the flames, the Elder One introduces himself as Corypheus. He goes on to say how her interference has angered him, how he created the breach in the sky, how she closed it, and he opened it again. His hard work so he could enter the Black City in the Fade and claim the Gods throne. He wants to be a God and rule over everyone. He wants Kythaela to kneel before him, she refuses. He tries to remove the mark from her so that she wouldn't be able to close his rifts. He can't remove it, it is permanent on her hand. He then says that she must die, for he "will not suffer an unknowing rival."

Kythaela clearly sees him as a threat and escapes Corypheus and his red lyrium dragon by firing the trebuchet and causing a massive avalanche that buries Haven. Corypheus escapes on his dragon.

Kythaela finds herself alone and deep underground in a cavern below the snow buried Haven. She gains a new ability, Mark Of The Rift, a very powerful ability and uses it to kill a few demons in her way. She then makes her way forward out of the cave and into the mountains, surrounded by a blizzard, snow, and ice. Visibility is near white-out conditions. She slowly makes her way forward through the blinding snowstorm.

Eventually, she finds what's left of the Inquisition and the survivors from the Haven attack in a small camp in the mountains. The advisors (Cullen, Cassandra, Lilianna, Josephine) are unsure of how to proceed. They're arguing loudly. Kythaela talks with Mother Giselle and they discuss everything from the attack, to what to do next, to Corypheus.

An inspiring song is sung, an uplifting song. The people all kneel before Kythaela. Solas tells Kythaela that the orb that Corypheus used to open the rift is Elven. Kythaela leads the Inquisition through the mountains and to a new fortress/castle surrounded by mountains and located high up in the mountains. This new home for the Inquisition is called Skyhold. At Skyhold, Kythaela is officially made the leader of the Inquisition. Absolute power over the Inquisition now falls on her shoulders. In her speech to her people, she vows to stop Corypheus.
